My step dad has just past away on sat. night. He had this Serratia disease. He was diagnosed in march of this year. He had a pick line in for anti-biotic. Come to find out the doctor had used the wrong anti-biotic. There was a pocket of this puss that hadn't gone down after the first treatment. It was getting bigger and bigger over the past 10 months. Have have 4 MRI's in that time. The last MRI was done this last friday morning. He past away saturday night. Come to find out that the MRI that was done had shown NO pocket of puss. This pocket of puss was the size of an egg. I am thinking that this pocket had burst and that is how he died.
Now, my question is.,,.....How long would it have been from the time this pocket busted to when he past away?
How long would it take for this to be in a persons system before this kills them?
