NEED HELP !! - I have been Sick for past 5 weeks with these symptoms

5 Weeks ago I woke up a fever, sinus congestion, pain to
right of my lower abdomen, pain in my pelvis , groin
and my back that is very excruciating. I have a loss
of appetite and when I eat it seems to hurt even
more in my abdomen, pelvi, groin and back.

I also feel very fatigued and the fever goes up
and down.

I have been going to my internist for tests
who also sent me to a urologist who
couldn't find anything. My urologist says
it could be a hernia but I am wondering
what other possibilities it could be as
the pain in lower abdomen , pelvis and
groin is something that first started about
12 years ago and would always flare up
over the years and then go away but
never this bad where it is no unbearable
and I can barely sit in the chair that I
writing this posting from.

If any has and suggestions, advice,
experience with this type of pain
and even perhaps know of a doctor
who might be familiar with these
types of symptoms I would be forever
grateful and would be forever in your
debt !

here or e-mail off of the site at: dang_78@hotmail.com

Thank you,

  • I've asked around, and you really need to get your appendix looked at.Your gall bladder is higher up, (if you follow your ribs from underneath your breast bone, it should be a handswidth away.) if THAT's where it's hurting, it's probably gall bladder, and needs to be taken out. If it's in your LOWER RIGHT abdomen, it's most likely your appendix, and it's probably infected. And my mother's gall bladder didn't show up untill we forced them to do exploratory surgery to look at it. It had died.A bad gall bladder usually won't show up on an ultrasound, though there is a test they can do to see if it's functioning.Good luck!Sheena
