Help. I have been experiencing a very low sex drive for the past few years and have become increasingly tired. I need frequent naps, and I have low back pain and body aches. My thyroid and CBC tests have come back normal. I am currently taking Tryclen-Lo birth control pills.

  • Sounds like anaemia. Fatigue comes from a a low level of haemoglobin which leads to a low level of oxygen in the blood. There can be many different causes for anaemia. In turn, anaemia typically causes low libido. Have you taken a blood test? Good luck!

  • I took the same birth control pill and I had those symptoms, all I did was change the BCP to Seasonal (my sex drive is crazy high now and as for sleeping, I don't need to as much, which was normal for me before taken the tricyclen-lo) the trick is to change BCP when you know it's not making you feel right, you change it until you find one that's right for your body.
