Hello, My 2 year old daughter was dignoses with kawasaki disease. She had been sick for about 3 weeks going into the 4th week she had a high fever, rash, bleeding lips, blood shot eyes, and many other symptoms.
She under went IVIG treatment and within hours she opened her eyes and said Hi.
We go back in two weeks for more heart testing to see if there was any damage done.
I would really love to chat with someone who's gone threw this with there child. I am wondering the side affects, any major problems now, How is your child now. This was really very scary and I hope that noone has to go threw this with there young child. Please you can email me at sweetmellisa1@yahoo.com or respond here. I feel like i am alone in this matter and would just like to talk to someone who has gone threw it or known of anyone else who has.
Thank You
