Hello, I am 20 years old and I suspect that I may be a genetic chimera. I have a distinct vertical line down my abdomen that separates lighter skin on my left side from slightly darker skin on my right. I believe that this type of pigmentation is refered to as Blaschko's Lines, which can be a visible indication of chimerism. I also have sectoral heterochromia (a mix of brown and blue iris) in my right eye. I have not been diagnosed because I haven't had any known medical complications that could be related to this condition. Any thoughts, comments, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am more interested in chimerism than concerned; and I wouldn't mind participating in research to confirm this diagnosis. Thanks!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
