I have this weird thing where i can stick my tongue back and up into my adenoids and into my nasal passages and feel around. Ever since I can remember I've been able to do this. Well, usually once a month...less now because of airborne..(i think) I feel around back there with my tongue and my adenoids are puffy and swollen and painfull and VERY VERY VERY uncomfortable. I've been to the ear nose and throat doctor and they said everything was normal. but after the swelling goes down I get into this habit (and i know this is the grossest thing ever) of picking off whatever is stuck there with my tongue. I want to know what is happening. I get sick and uncomfortable too much..and most of the time it happens along with my tonsils getting swollen and painful too. But of course, I cant find a doctor who will remove both my tonsils and my adenoids so that this doesnt happen again!
Does anyone really know what's going on with my adenoids??
