Capsaicin sensitivity -- symptom of adrenal insufficiency?

So I am diagnosed with Adrenal Insufficiency. Pre diagnosis, my symptoms (typical of AI; hyperpigmentation, fatigue, etc), got worse after a period of high stress. Another change I noticed was an increased sensitivity to spicy food (which contains capsaicin).

As Capsaicin causes physiological stress, it makes sense that Addisonians would react worse in response to it (releasing more adrenalin rather than cortisol).

Has anyone else with this condition noticed this?
