My sister (Leslie) has just been diagnosised w/Buerger's. She has stopped smoking (7-days). The ulcerated Big toe & area behind her pinky has not healed any. Maybe a little of color change. The pain issue is the intense pain she has. Is the intense pain normal? Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do about the pain? Any suggestions on how to recover for this disease?

Any suggestions on how to recover for this disease?I used antibotic ointment with /pain relief. But that probably want help to much. The bone is dying most likely. My hand has been dying for 5 years and I've had 4 operations. I have 3 and one half fingers left on my right hand. No heart beat in left foot Hot baths help me. I have Buerger's disease.Michael
