Hi!! Just wondering if anyone out there has Polyglandular Autoimmune Syndrome (it has 3 types). I think I may be suffering from this...I'm Fatigued all the time, excessive weight gain and my labs are showing some problems. I'm (+) for celiac antibodies, (+) thyroid antibodies, Low DHEA-S, Low AM Cortisol, Low ACTH, TSH=1.6, FT4=0.68, FT3=220, T4=10 and I have premature ovarian failure (dx at 28). I'm now 40 and I'm really out of sorts...I know sometrhing is wrong and I need to find out what it is. I take Estrogen 1mg/daily(I'm on no thyroid meds) since my hysterectomy in 2000...I think this is keeping my thyroid levels up...if I was off the Estrogen I think the thyroid levels would be even lower as well as the cortisol level...estrogen raises these levels falsley. I'm headed to my PCP this weekend...I'm hoping for an endo. doc referral...I need some help. Any input would be GREAT.
