Anaphylactic Reaction to All Shampoos

I've become chemically sensitive to most petroleum products. Petro chemicals are used for most of the scents in shampoos these days.

I am almost out of the only shampoo I can use. The manufacturer changed and added a new chemical which I am intolerant of. I still have some of the old stuff left but soon I will be totally out. I don't want to panic but I'm scared because I know I need to wash my hair at least once a week.

I have tried everything over the counter; I have ordered and returned at least 10 different shampoos on the web; they all have that harsh chemical now that I react to.

Anyone else have this rare allergic reaction and have some tips. :(

  • Hello and Welcome to this message board.I was a basket case until I found this message board and later I found the solution to my problems: NAET at naet.comI could talk to you for hours about how awful shampoos made me feel. I did not wash my hair properly for months! Sorry it sounds awful but I had panic attacks and blackout with most cosmetics. I lived in a bubble, being allergic to mostly everything. To make it short, this can be reversed 90% of the times. Please go to NAET,com and read the testimonials.DId you try Aubrey Organics? It dind't work? I have been using it for a while afterbeing treated with NAET.Stick around,SIncerely.ps: I was in so much danger, I was given Rx for 2 EPipens in case I needed them both the same day.

  • Ashley The only two types of products that I can think of are Aveda products, not sure if your alergy products are in there Otherwise ozark herbal, all hand made products out of Arkansas, has a shampoo bar. The ingredients are not listed on the web, but I am sure if you emailed them, he would get back to you as soon as he could. They do travel alot selling at craft fairs, that's where I met him, very nice man. Cala
