Hello, I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but my sister-in-law contracted Chagas disease while on a missionary trip to Panama. She is now pregnant and worried that she might pass it on to her baby. Does anyone know what tests, if there are any, they can run pre-birth and post-birth to see if the baby has it? I know there is a high infant mortality rate if the baby has it and isn't treated. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Even if it is sending me to a different place to post this thread.
