Last week I had a quick check-up. during the appointment the Dr. gave me an ultrasound, it was the one on top of the belly, not a trans-vaginal. She could not detect a heartbeat and said the baby's back was facing us and that was the reason the heartbeat wasn't visible.
She said the baby was fine and could see it kicking it's legs, and was not concerned.
Should I still be worried? Is it possible that the position of the baby would have an effect on seeing the heartbeat?
