I'm actually writing this for my reclusive artist husband who works in his studio for 16 hours a day every day and VERY RARELY ventures outside (even though we are surrounded by one of the most beautiful gardens ever). I have been giving him Vit. D supplements, but have just heard that it is NOT good for you to do that! A couple of months ago, I was reading that if you don't get enough sunlight, you SHOULD take Vitamin D.
Can this be harmful to him? Also, how much sunlight should someone get so they don't have to take Vitamin D??
