Ok so for about 8 years now and counting almost everytime I eat I get sick. It does not matter what I eat I get sick. I've been putting it off for years now and just been toughing it out but now its bothering me so much I can't take it anymore. I have tried acid reflux pills and pills for being lactose intollerant and it did not help. I recently tried not eating anything with milk or anything like that for about a week now and it has no helped. I chewed tobacco for 15 years and I quit thinking that was the problem and because its not healthy anyways and yet again that failed. I have not been able to goto a doctor because I cannot afford a medical bill because I do not have insurance but now I am at the point where I can no longer take this. I am sick of going out to eat and maybe eating half of something and within 15 minutes to 4 hours later I get sick. I do not know what can cause this. So I ask for help thanks.

  • I have found this health problem about 2 week ago. For that i just went to doctor as well as he notified me that this was happened because of gastric problem. So i just follow doctor guideline and medicine. If you find this vomiting problem so it is better to contact your doctor as soon as possible.

  • My sister is 16... She can't seem to hold any food in and struggles to gain weight. She had gone anorexic and gave on food for a very long time... She can go days without eating however, she is trying to get healthy and gain weight again. Her problem is that she can't hold in much food and therefore she can't gain weight... She ways a little less than 60 pounds. She is 16 years old and 5"5. I'm not sure if this is a severe medical problem or if she just needs to be on a special diet... If anyone can offer some suggestions that would be great. Thank you

  • Hi... My sister is 16 and is having lots of trouble holding food in... She weighs 58 pounds and is 5"5. She had gone anorexic for quite some time and stopped eating entirely... Recently she has tried to change this. She eats willingly but can't hold food in, therefore she can't gain much weight at all... This hasn't been going on for years, only the past 3 months. I'm not sure if this is a medical condition or just her body rejecting food its not used to. Is there maybe a special diet she should be on? Please help.

  • Something like this could stem from many things. You must take charge of your own healing. There's an interesting book you could get that might help in some ways...see if any of it resonates with you. It's called "Mystery Diseases and Me." I think you can get it on Amazon.com. Best of luck and health to you.

  • Has anyone found a cure or something to help this condition? My boyfriend throws up 95% of the time after eating a meal. And his stomach has now begun to hurt more often. He has also had every test available. What can we do?

  • Before I read this I didn't even know this was a serious disease, I just thought it was something that would just go away. I think it has been four years since then and vomiting a bit every ten or so minutes after a meal is not uncommon for me. I am almost fifteen and have a fast enough metabolism as it is, I definitely do not need to lose a portion of my meals to the plumbing system. However, I have tried quite a bit of stuff and nothing has worked. Thank you to every one who has posted with possible explanations to this problem, I only wish i would went on to Google a whole lot sooner! My heart goes out to those who have it much worse than I do, as a guy I know I am much lighter than others just reaching triple digits on the scale, I couldn't even imagine what people go through who are lighter than I.

  • Hey all -I just discovered this thread. I'm in my late 30's and have this same problem for a long time now (for about 15+ years). I get sick each time I eat and drink. The only relief I have found is after I vomit...I feel immediately better. (However, I don't vomit all the food I eat, only a portion of it). I also cough a lot to help ward off the "gag" feeling.I've seen a dr at Thomas Jefferson for a number of years, but he isn't sure why this occurs either. (He said he thought it might be ("cyclic vomiting syndrome, but I get sick after every meal). I've been on every type of GERD medicine and nothing's helped. I've also tried a lot of other prescription and OTC meds. The Jefferson dr. has also tried injections of Botox in the stomach wall, which hasn't helped either. I've also tried things like Protonix which didn't help.So far, the only thing that helps is to not eat. Also, sucking on mints after I eat does seem to help. Hopefully we can all share and find out what's going on!!!

  • My Dear Friend Gilly1975, i feel for your health condition as the same sort of problem was with my dad, ofcourse its really horrible. Meanwhile, have the Doctors tried diagnosing for HIATAL HERNIA? This also has very similar or rather identical symptoms mentioned above. Hope this will help you. Above all it was our ****s who cured this disorder for my Dad (who had all test results negative and no Hiatal hernia), HOLD YOUR FAITH IN ****s. ****s WILL SURELY HELP YOU AND SAVE YOU..!! AMEN

  • I've been diagnosed with gastroeparesis twice, once in 05 as a severe case (was vomiting the coffee grounds and liquid) and more recently in 11 as a mild case (in which I was vomiting 20-30 minutes after every meal but after potassium infusion, up to 2-3 hours after every meal) Just this diagnosis alone has made me give up on the medical profession in frustration. The doctors just didn't listen to the words I was trying to tell them. I'm at my wits end...and apparently my word limit too.

  • Hi!
I'm 30 years old and I've been vomiting after almost every meal since well forever...I remember as far back as when I was 13!
Just FYI; no nausea, no sickness, no shortness of breth, nothing.
It simply just comes back out.
It happens between 5 to 45 minutes of eating. Even sometimes if I drink water.
I must also mention that I had no weight issues as a child, I was hyper active. N in high school & Uni I was PERFECT! I played sports n everything, yes I have gained some weight since then

  • My wife has been having same problem for over 2 months:, no diagnosis after MRI, CT, endoscopy, pelvic, etc... Vomiting after every bit of food, even small amounts of organic soup, nausea, dizzy, weak, sleeping alot, abdomen pain. Only thing that has helped so far is Domperidone, which she took for a week, but I think this is a short term med, and she got worse after the prescription was done. They have mentioned crohns, hernia, ulcer, appendix, pregnancy, gerd, and more..colonoscopy next week!

  • I am just like you kinda but everytime when I eat or drink anything 5 mins or less than 1 mins i have to vomit. I have seen a doctor so many times and first they thought i was constipated which i was but the medicine for constipation didn't help with the vomiting. So then they tried (like you said you took) acid reflux pills. And that didn't work.Than I had to get a scope. they said they found acid in my stomach and told me and my mom that i have to try the acid reflux pills again for a week and

  • if they didn’t work, that we had to call back to the hospital and then they would try something else. But its been like 5 months since that and my mom nevered called the hospital back. I can’t handle this vomiting every single day and not being able to drink water or eat food. I started this vomiting process when i was 12 (so like last year in november 2013) and still is happening today when i am 13. The one thing i hate about this vomiting thing is that when it comes to school, a lot of teacher

  • Hi. I have been having this same problem since April or May of this year. After everything I eat no matter what it is it comes up 5 mins later. I get chronic upper abdominal pains with cramping, sharp and achy pain that goes around to my side and shoulder blade, chills, fevers, and dizziness. I have had numerous ultrasounds, upper gi , biopsies and blood work done also a HIDA scan done. I have been tested for my liver, gallbladder, appendix, H Pylori, pancreas, and ulcers and nothing. I've lost over 100lbs just this year alone and no this is not on purpose. Just really tired of feeling like this. Does anyone have any clue of what this could be? Thanks
