Runny nose, doctor can not explain it

Runny nose, no cough no anything else all blood work and ct scan normal Only when rising in morning, never happens when in bed. Changed houses, washed every thing if was a smell or item would have it every day but it comes and goes can be fine for a few days then boom. Again HELP!! With ideas

  • I do the same in the mornings. It's typically the molds and mildew from the wet foliage for me. I also have difficulty wearing my contacts at that time, the early morning.

  • I tend to get a runny nose when I lean forward. It gets worse when I am exercising, for example, bending over to wash the kitchen floor, going for a walk and especially walking up a hill, my nose will run incessantly. I have learned to carry around tissues or a hanky all of the time. I don't know whether my body is just particularly good at producing mucus, but it is obviously not infected. I don't think it is a problem as much as it is just annoying.

  • Some bacterial infections can cause a runny nose, like Klebsiella. Maybe you can get a blood test to check for an infection somewhere in your body that you are unaware of.
