HI, I recently went to a restaurant and ordered some ginger soup. As I was eating the soup i noticed when the soup would touch up under my lips it was burning so i stopped eating it. I did notice a weird feeling under my lips as if though they were burned. I looked and under the upper part of my lips were black as if though they were burned. It has been three weeks since then and it has not improved in coloration. I wanted to know will my lips ever go back to being the normal color? It's not all that noticiable because as I said it's under my lips. Also, a new symptom is that the corners of my mouth are cracking now.
