anyone have vertigo?if you do tell me a medication that made it go away.

i have had vertigo for years.doc has me on meclizine and it makes me able to drive.i still have vertigo where i am limited to do things, like climb a ladder..etc.does anyone have medication that makes vertigo go away for good. Thank you in advance.Joe

  • I battled vertigo for a year and went through numerous, expensive tests. Finally, my doctor suggested physical therapy. I balked at the idea, but desperation made me try it. It worked after just 1 session!! I am located in Sugar Land, TX, and if you are too, I could give you the physical therapists name. She warned me that it could come back, and it has, so I do the exercise she taught me at home and it works after 1 exercise session. She called what I have benign positional vertigo.
