I all of a sudden whilst walking around the house stopped instantly and doubled over when i felt like someone was stabbing my clitoris and by moving an inch it hurt really bad i started wimpering, moaning, it really was the most horrific pain!

Also, in the last week my period has been due and i have been experencing the usual symptoms of my period coming, cramps moodiness, then in the last few days i can smell the usual bloodly smell i get when bleeding however there is no blood!

- I must also be noted that i started taking the mini contraceptive pill around 15 days ago. i am 18 years old, sexually active. Period 1 week late.

Please help

It will be much appreciated xxx

  • Have you heard of vulvodynia? It is a chronic pain disorder in the vuvla, and effects other areas of the vagina as well. There is no known cause for it, and no treatment that works for everyone. However, I have read of the pill because the instigator for some people. I would consult your gynecologist, but be wary, many don't know what it is. I know how frustrating and painful this can be, I've been trying to navigate my vulvodynia for the past year.
