I have been sick nearly 10 years now, and I haven't had success with doctors. When I was 23 I fell for the first time, my legs turned to jello and just buckled. I've always had constant widespread pain, I've adapted and learned to live with it. By 25, my right arm was paralyzed and drawn up against my body, my muscles were spasmodic and in constant pain I developed severe urinary and bowel issues, as well as difficulty breathing. My joints were deteriorating, and fatigue and fog filled my brain. Severe migraines and weird optical and hand mind disturbances rounded out the mix. By hand mind, I mean I could place something with my right hand, and have no recollection. I knew most of my symptoms were probably weight related, so I struggled to lose weight, unsuccessfully, and tried to live with the symptoms. Doctors visits turned up alot of what wasn't wrong, no thyroid issues, no ms, no lupus,no brain tumor, and eventually I was given a vague neuropathic disorder combined with fibromyalgia. I fought through physical therapy and regained the use of my arm, the only left over issues are an annoying tremor which makes it difficult to do many things, and often results in flying objects. At 28 after the birth of my last child I dropped 160 lbs in 3 months. Again trips to doctors did nothing. The varied response was, you were disgusting be happy, and there is nothing wrong in your tests its a miracle, to various doctors thinking I want drugs. Thats the life story version, broken down here it is. Excruciating pain in my joints and muscles, primary points my right shoulder/arm, my knees, which need total replacement, and my lower to midback in the spinal cord area. I also have extreme pain in my female/urinary system, constant bladder infection symptoms without an infection, my right hand is always cold, always trembling, especially when trying to use it for tasks that require fine motor skills. I have little appetite, but finally stopped losing weight after a total of 180 lost. Migraines eased after minor diet changes, but still happen occasionally. I could literally sleep all the time. I wake tired I go to bed tired, fatigue does not cover the exhaustion I feel 80% of the time. I still have problems linking my brain to my right hand which is an issue since im right handed. I struggle to walk, lift even 5 lbs, open water bottles stairs are excruciating, not just on my knees it hurts my whole body. And very embarrassing but recently i've began dealing with incontinence, urinary and bowel, which should not be an issue at my age. Im tired of doctors, tests, vague diagnosis, pain pills I refuse to take, and Im too stubborn to just lay down and die, so if anyone has been through this, knows what is going on, please please let me know.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
