Thank you to anyone reading this. I am tired of my gyno not being of any help with my problem. Please, give share any thoughts,ideas/suggestions/opinions..I am all ears. While attending diagnostic medical sonography school,2011-2013 my instructor discovered multiple cysts throughout my body. Varying from my ovaries to my kidney, including my cervix and uterus. One of which being a (teratoma) "dermoid cyst" IN my left ovary which has grown roughly to about 4 1/2 cm. I've been seeking "treatment" and I'm convinced my gyno is a quack. She rarely even remembers the case when I'm seeing her or what she has or hasn't done from previous appointments. One visit she explained it was nothing the next she seemed concerned and referred me out for blood work and a stool sample to test for cancerous cells or whatever. Then I called weeks later after never hearing from her to ask about results but she had no idea what I was talking about. She seems to not have experience or any knowledge about pathologies. I can't settle with "see me again in 3 months". I need a great thorough inquisitive caring doctors help. The pain (it) causes has become a burden and is depressing, to say the least. I rarely enjoy sex with my husband because it's painful,I'm always fatigued, constipated and severely bloated. The bigger "dermoid cyst" is in my left ovary however the PAIN and numb kind of burning sensation is on the right side of my lower mid pelvic region, near the lump I can literally rub and feel. ??
I am a healthy 31 y.o fit and active mother of one child who is now 7 and was delivered by cesarean. I had 1 abortion 3 1/2 weeks into pregnancy(regretfully) when I was younger, roughly 12 years ago. I think that is all the info I have to share..it took a lot of courage to speak about this so openly with strangers..I ask that I am not discriminated or pre-judged based on anything I've shared. I'm only human and am asking for help. PLEASE!!
Thank you for taking your time to read my story. Hope to hear some feedback.
