Pain after fall

Firstly apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but I couldn't find a forum fitting the description.

About 2 and a half weeks ago I was snowboarding and fell over landing on my front and the brunt of the impact was taken up by lower abs due to it being a sloped surface meaning my belt buckle being dug into my lower ab region on impact and causing some pain.

Now there is no visible brusing and there never has been but when ever I touch the area I get a strange sharp/burning pain its hard to describe but it really is unpleasant(is there ever pleasant paint lol) pain coming up for a good minute. There is no other discomfort its only when that area is touched, it doesnt have to be with much pressure either.

I thought it might have been some brusing that was just not visible but after so long it starting to give me some concern!

Any idea? Should I be worried or should I just leave it be?

  • Try looking into RSD, Reflex Sympathetic dystrophy or complex regional pain syndrom. When you look at the symptoms one thing to remember is not everyone gets all the symptoms or they come in different order.
