Hey guys. This is my first thread. My problem is that 3 days ago, I was sitting in front of my computer checking emails and all of sudden I felt a sharp pain in the sides of my stomach, like someone was hitting me with a jackhammer. So I thought it was out of the blue and ignored it. Then I felt like a fever was coming on and decided to call it a night and went to sleep. No matter at what angle I decided to sleep, I had excruciating pain, which forced me to stay awake. Then every 10 minutes I was going to the bathroom to relieve myself. The next day, I felt a little better, but the pain was still there. Then I went to the pharmacy and told the pharmacist my symptoms and he gave me some medication.

He gave me Disflatyl, Voltaren SR 75 and some Ginger Capsules. The pain on the right side of my stomach has gone, but I still have excruciating pain in the right side of my stomach. Feels like my ribs are gonna collapse soon. I also have pain in the shoulders and chest. Just an hour ago I decided to sleep, but could not since there was excruciating pain. It kept on paining continuously and it was so excruciating that I was screaming. Whenver I take a deep breath or swallow it hurts alot.

Can someone please help and tell me whats wrong with me? I am planning to go to the Doctor's today, which should have been done the moment I felt the pain. But, I thought that everything was gonna be okay.

Thank you and nice forums.

  • Hard to say, but you should definitly ask for a colonscopy. It could be something like Ulcerative Colitis or Chrons. Be carefull with the voltaren until after you have done so as well. They are very ******n the intestines! Kiera
