Hi, I'm a 28yo male and for the past week have been suffering from extreme pain. It started on Monday in my lower abdomen on the left side. At first I thought it was gas but on Tuesday it had shifted and my whole left side hurt up to my left shoulder. The next day it had moved across my chest and no longer hurt in my abdomen. Today it has hurt directly under my breastbone. It is a crushing, squeezing pain and when it gets bad enough I actually break out into a sweat. I have NO IDEA what it could be. For the most part I am a very healthy guy. I eat a very strict diet, work out 4-5 times a week. It's not acid reflex because it is not affected by eating or not eating or antacids. I have taken some gas relief meds and that hasn't helped, neither has regular old pain medications. I'm in between jobs so health insurance hasn't kicked in yet so I'm avoiding the Dr's unless I absolutely have to go.
