I've read on several forums about people who have this exact same condition of coughing up a small scab every few days, and some have had it for many years. But nobody seems to have been cured by any of the ENT's they've seen.
For me, it started right after a mild cold I had a couple of months ago and, although I feel fine otherwise, and don't even cough between these episodes. But right before I have to cough, my throat seems a little sore and then I can taste the phlegm just before I cough up a scab about 1/4 x 1/2-inch with some mucus on it.
Any ideas on what caused this? And how to cure/treat it?
