This is probably the most embarrassing thing ever, but here it goes:
I've only recently become sexually active- my boyfriend and I lost our virginity to each other. Anyway, he went down on me yesterday before sex, and I felt fine. Afterwards, I noticed that I was in some pain. Upon investigating, we noticed two small cuts inside my vagina around the clitoris. Later that night, about 8 hours after sex, my boyfriend had a cold sore erupt on his lip. Being panicky, I immediately feared Herpes, but I can't imagine it would happen so fast! The cuts hurt, but that's it, and I've feared that I have a yeast infection for the past few days (even before this sexual experience). Today, there seems to be new skin growing over the cuts, like they are healing. Could the cold sore/cuts just be a coincidence? Is it possible that he just maybe scratched or bit me? We were both virgins until this year, and no, neither of us are lying about that. We both have parents who have never had Herpes, so it couldn't have been passed on to us through birth.
So what I'm really wondering is: does this sound like a yeast infection, or does it sound like something worse? I'm a bit terrified...and paranoid.
