hi, sometimes i get incredibly scared of having a nightmare, so i'll set alarms on my phone in hour and a half intervals. tonight, i set them. i fell asleep, and i woke up about an hour before my first alarm out of a really weird dream. my dog was laying in my lap, and my cat jumped up and started batting at my dog's face, so i batted at my cats face, and kept batting at her face every time she meowed at me. it was most certainly odd, but definitely not a nightmare. upon waking up, i felt like the back of my head was vibrating, like maybe my phone had made its way under my pillow and started going off, and i remember thinking i should get my phone, but i couldn't move... and then my entire body started shaking and jerking, it lasted about three seconds, and i got scared, and started to yell, but then it stopped. i am not on any medications for anything, and after i had googled what may have happened, google told me it could have been a case of sleep paralysis or a seizure, and sleep paralysis is commonly invoked by falling asleep on your back, which i was doing. it didn't say anything about the violent shaking in sleep paralysis. i do have a family history of seizure problems, which is why i'm so concerned about google telling me it could have possibly been a seizure.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
