I was diagnosed with an osteiod (after months of back and forths with various MRI, CAT scans, X-Rays) just two days after finding out I am pregnant. We are delighted with the news (!!) but unfortunately my osteoid seems to be reacting to the pregnancy and the pain has increased in both intensity and frequency. It is keeping me awake for hours each night and is near intolerable. Tylenol is safe for me to take during pregnancy, but not daily and certainly not as often as I would like to take it.
I am seeking advice / tricks that any of you may have used to help abate the pain without medication. I've tried applying both heat and cold before bed, hoping to relax the tissue and "draw out" the pain before I go to sleep, but to no avail. I am unable to have surgery until after the baby arrives.
I'm desperate - I have six months to go and the lack of sleep during this time is wearing on me terribly. Mine is keeping me up for a minimum of two hours (if not more) every night. Please - any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
