So my nephew is kind of a stubborn little guy and lately has gone on this kick where he absolutely refuses to drink water, he loves his soda way too much..I spent all weekend trying to coerce him (he's 4), but nothing seemed to work. Does anyone have suggestions for trying to change a child's eating habits? Any help would be much appreciated!

  • You won't be able to do much of anything. It's not his fault, but the fault of the parent who buys the young child the pop. I would work on his parents and tell them they are setting him up for diabetes and heart problems later in life. I never had the stuff in my home when I had young kids. Pop will also leach the calcium out of his bones. If his parents don't change their habits, then when he visits you, maybe you can make him some yummy treats like fresh squeezed orange juice...let him help make it...and then nutritional smooties, with sunrider's concentrated nuplus or other protein powder, bananas & juice without cane sugar or frutose.
