i'm 25 and have been having nosebleeds all my life i usually have about 5 a month but for the pasy 4 months (since moving) i have been having on average one every other day.
They can be a little one which i class as steady drips which last upto 5 mins or they can be big ones which is like having a tap on they tend to last between 25 - 40 mins they come from the very back of my nose are really difficult to stop, with these ones i nearly always end up with blood going down the back of my throat. About 50% of the time i get a big lump of tissue coming out of my nose as well (clot).
We have a humidifier in the house which we have on constantly, I had a 24hr blood pressure monitor as my blood pressure was always high when i went to the doctors, but it came back normal it was just nerves at seeing the doctor. My nose never feels dried out.
70% of the nose bleeds happen within 30 mins of waking. They don't bother me when i get them because i have been having them for so long, but i want to know why they have increased, and what i can do to reduce the number.
