On Saturday i went shopping in town with my mum and my children, i had felt a bit rough for a few days before, tightness around my chest and shortness of breath (i am asthmatic) i thought i had caught a virus from my daughter. When i went to collect my mum to go into town my head did feel a little bit fuzzy but i wasn't concerned.
I parked my car and walked from the car park to the shop which took about 10-15 minutes, we headed up to the top floor of the shop and i was just generally looking round and i started to get abdominal pain, then a warm feeling went round my body, i started to go dizzy, my legs turned to jelly, i was sweating profusely and my vision turned to a white blur for a few minutes. The chest tightness and breathlessness eased after the incident. I was taken to hospital and they said that i possibly had gallstones, but i'm worried because i don't seem to be as sharp mentally as normal, i still have a fuzzy head and i'm struggling with words. My doctor said this was a vasovagal episode in reaction to the pain but i'm worried it may be something like a tia because my dad had several strokes and also i don't remember all of the incident.
I do suffer with ME and Fibromyalgia.
