I have a friend that had dental work done and they used "laughing gas" to relax her. They could not get her awake. Call EMS - stayed out for about 30 min. Came to - but very confused and weak. Diagnosed with Seizures. Stayed in hospital three days. Having up to 8 seizures a day on meds. They sent her to Brackenridge Hospital in Austin - after MRI, cat scan and many other tests that it was not seizures. Sent her home with no meds. Starting having "episodes" every other hour - she was unconscious for about 20 min. Took about an hour to get her wits back. So you can see that didn't leave much time in between. Her husband took her to ER at Scott and White Hospital in Temple - they told her they didn't think it was seizures but put her on seizure meds. They sent her home same day - she still has them about twice a day now. Out for about 5 to 10 minutes now. But after talking to her today - she is not right. She can't think of the right words. Forgets what she is saying. Now they have sent her to 4 psych doctors - they tell her that it is all in her head. Anyone have any suggestions?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
