Two weeks ago my 60 year old friend was getting ready to go for her morning walk. When she didn't feel well her her husband told her sit and rest before she went. She sat down and tried eating some yogert. When she still didn't feel well he told her to go in and lay down. As she stood up, she colaspsed. He called 911. Since that day she has been unable to move her arms or legs. Her speech was impaired, but is slowly improving. She can move her head and torso and has feeling in all limbs. A stroke and Lyme disease has been ruled out. Mentally she is 100% there. Her doctor has consulted doctors from Duke and Pitt. No one can identify what is wrong or why. Her doctor does not believe it to be psychological.
