Hi everybody, do not know what is happening to me but I have been getting numbness in both arms and hands worse when I wake up in the morning, my arms are starting to feel heavy and tired, I also get puffiness in the fingers, went to the doctors and they did tests for lupus and scleroderma and carpal tunnel, tests came up negative, each time, I have also noticed that I am getting constant muscle twitches in my left chest area which I am finding very annoying, does anybody out there have the same symptoms that could shed some light, I have been reading up on thoracic outlet syndrome is there anybody that has this and does this sound familiar

  • I was diagnosed with Thoraic Outlet Syndrome this year!! Also, carpal tunnel, I have been to two different physical therapy groups for treatment but have not gotten any better. This began in Jan. 2006 with both arms. Have graves disease, thought my thyroid was under control. Went to a neuroligist yesterday, had blood work and a MRI scheduled for later in the week. I am off balance, stumble alot, fall forward or backwards. Last two weeks have felt better, but they are looking for MS or stroke! I have lots of odd symtoms but they have appeared here recently. Don't ignore your hands and arms though, could be lupus, ms, or possibly pancoase tumor, this has the symptoms of numb hands and pain! Good luck, let me know.
