Not a long time after i joined the military, i started to experience a weird numbing of my body. I am a 20 year old female with no known family medical problems, due to the fact i don't know my real family. I have gone to the doctors concerning this, and was told that these numbings of my body could be minor strokes.

Upon doing some research of my own, minor strokes doesn't seem to be what the are. i just do not know what is causing them, or what they could be

It starts off as a tingling in my fingers then they go numb. At the same time the side of my face does the same thing. Its always the right side. Then as it moves down my arm it moves down the side of my face until it reaches my mouth and on my arm it goes to above my elbow. my entire upper arm and mouth are numb like it had a shot of Novocaine injected into it. the time of which the numbness last changes, sometimes it longer than usual.

lately these occurrences are becoming more frequent. they used to occur about once or twice a month. now about once a week and just the other night it happened twice in less than two hours. i would appreciate any incite on this very much.
