I am 19 yrs old, 6 foot tall and 170 pounds. A week ago I was sitting in bed when my heart all of the sudden started palpitating (i think) it started to beat very fast and very hard. My legs and arms went completely numb and were tingling really bad. I could still move my limbs but I could almost not feel anything touching them (like the bed sheets below me) whenever I moved them across the sheets I just felt the tingly go even more extreme. I went to the hospital in an ambulance and my Blood pressure was 200/something (i dont remember) and pulse around 125. I know that is extremely high. I got to the ER and was hooked up to all the monitors, and over the course of the next hour and a half or so everything (pulse, BP, etc.) slowly returned to normal. Then they sent me home without telling me what had happened. Over the next week I felt normal. Then now last morning, I woke up from a nap and felt that extreme numbness and tingly in only my legs. My heart started beeting fast again but i think it is only because i was freaking out thinking that it was happening again. I stood up and walked around and it started to eb away. I lied back down and it started to come back but only 1/3 the sensation as before. As the numbness and tingling ebbed away I am left with a "cool" feeling almost like cold water but not wet. I am unemployed and have no health insurance and havent been to a doctor. Any comments would be great.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
