i am 21 years old. have been diagonosed previously with SVT (arrythmias and fast heart beat). about 3 weeks ago had a full seizure - hit head on steel lowes paint counter (ouch). i have been extremely fatigued - missed 8 days out of 21 of work this month. feel faint or faint at least once each day - not by standing up but by just being about. ct scan ok. ekg - actually NORMAL (not typical of SVT), lay/sit/stand - ok.

i need something else to go towards!

She has been diagnosed unknown etology. The only problem she has is hypothyroidism. We have been unable to get a diagnosis of anything but she continues to have these symptoms

  • I am also looking for answers. My daughter has had what appear to be some kind of seizure, along with fainting/near fainting. She is also hypothyroid, and has had normal eeg/ekg/ct scan/ mri. I hope you find some answers, good luck.

  • At age 23 my otherwise happy healthy daughter started expierencing a strange disorder. She "would feel it coming on", go to bed and during her sleep fall into some kind of coma-like state. She twitches, drools, her eyes roll back in her head and she cannot be awoken. These spells last about 10 to 12 hours, until she slowly comes to. In a day or so she feels fine. We have noticed this occurs monthly, a week before menses. Anyone have any thoughts on this? She has had a battery of brain scans etc, yet everything is normal. Her fits are a scary thing to see, and she has a young son.....can anyone help?
