I had a Cervical 5-6 fusion on Sept. 8, 2014. Was progressing well, until my right arm went numb upon showering.
The numbness, along with pins and needles has progressed so that I have 8-10 episodes a day. They usually last less than a minute, but will continue to have throbbing on my right side. It will go from right cheek, arm, chest, hip, top of thigh and down leg.
It is very positional. Getting up out of bed, standing from sitting, putting a bowl away in a bottom cupboard, hanging clothes, getting out of car etc.
Also have issues with C 6-7, but that was not operated on.
Also had a L5-S2 fusion July, 2013. The pain in my legs in gone, and doing well with that.
