Im posting this here as I think its a Sciatic nerve issue but could be anything
Ok so I dont know where to start but I guess from the beginning. I will try and make this as short as possible.
Back in January whilst running on the treadmill, after finishing the running my calf felt very strained. After a week once the pain went away, I then tried again, and again the calf pain came back straight away and this was the last time I have run and unfortunately the beginning of bigger issues.
In March time I started to go to a physio for my ankle/calf and continued to weight train on upper body as I was no longer able to run at which time around May I started to feel a strained in my forearm whilst lifting weights. So at this stage in May I completely stop with any form of exercise as I cant do weights or any running.
From here I think went through private healthcare for my forearm and ankle as the ankle also had not improved yet. I went to a very reputable Dr who is also the Dr for the England football team thinking that he would be able to get to the bottom of it. He sent me for an MRI on my ankle and said that there were no issues and sent me for physio for both my ankle/calf and forearm. By the way this is all issues on left side of my body.
Now it is July and this is where it really started to get worse. Upon starting physio my forearm pain seems to spread. I start to feel the pain a lot in my wrists, neck, arm and even going up the back of my head. Once I even closed my eyes and the issue caused flashing lights in my head which was when my physio then referred me on to a very good Dr he knew. That Dr sent me for a nerve test on my arm, which showed a little damage but nothing out of the ordinary and sent me for an Mri and xray on my spin near neck. This showed no issues out of the ordinary and he seemed to wipe his hands of me and just said 'You need to go gym and get yourself in shape', this isnt helpful advice considering I am in too much pain to go gym.
So thats where I am at with the arm and neck issue, however the calf/neck issue has also spread up my knee, up my thigh, up my left buttock and even some discomfort in lower buttock.
Now today if i hold my fingers I can feel a slight throbbing and same in my left buttock.
Sorry for the very long message, just I am desperate to get some further advice from anyone that can help as I have now been going physio for 6 months and had two doctors have a look at me and say nothing is wrong, but I promise I am not just making a meal out of nothing. This has ruined my life, to the point that I have got completely out of shape cause the issues have meant I cant train, and then even at work I have discomfort using a keyboard and I cant even do simple things like play playstation anymore or garden cause of the constant movements that cause discomfort.
