Hi, Last September ('07) my 39 year old husband had blood tests and it was confirmed that he had Glandular Fever this progressed to him being diagnosed in May to having moderate Post Viral CFS for which we saw a consultant for.
Having adjusted our lifestyle to cope with CFS the last few months have ticked along OK. Until recently when he started complaining of a numb right big toe so went to the doctors last week and when his reflexs were checked his legs shot into the air. (these reflexes where also checked by the CFS/ME consultant in May and were fine)
The doctor has referred him to a neurologist and said that it could possibly be a slipped disc or could be something else.
I am wondering if the CFS symtoms, the numb toe & the over active reflex are link in any other way or is it just coincidence???
