Looking for some advice here is the story a good friend of mine and my husband over the last couple of moths seems to be having some problems and we confronted him about going to a doctor but he has no health insurance and is afraid that when he gets his new job and he is diagnoed he won't be covered, I told him usully insurance companies won't cover major illnesses the first year- not sure but I am more concered about him this is his symtoms the most noticable is his slurred speech almost like he has been drinking. If he reads out load you don't hear it or he can be on the phone watching TV and he won't do it, he tells me he has no tremors or twictching at all, his movements are slower than they used to be and his grop is really weak, a has a problem with fine motor skills like putting a small object in a hole- he is a race car mechanic and is really frustrated with the loss of cordination. He says when he wakes up in the morning and walks he feels like his legs are floating up in the air. He says he has no memory problems no lack of concentraion and no pain other than a back ache between his shoulder blades from a car accident. I want to take him to the emergeny room and say I think he is having a stroke so they will test him what do you make of these symtoms.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
