Hello all! I don’t know whether I am writing the appropriate section or not. Anyway I was reading the article on Parkinson’s disease and then I thought that it will be a nice idea to join this community. Actually my dad has been diagnosed with this disease a couple of days ago. I never noticed the mentioned symptoms of Parkinson’s disease with dad before but it could be that because I spend less time at home. Some days back mum phoned me at work and told me that dad had been admitted at the hospital. I rushed to the hospital where the doc told me that dad is suffering from Parkinson’s disease. I don’t know anything about this disease and that’s why I was looking for info on this matter on the net. Dad has been prescribed Eldepryl (hope I have written correctly). . I just wanted to ask whether you know someone suffering from this disease? Also what medications do they take? Do you know someone who takes Eldepryl? I read that this medicine has several side effects

Allergic reactions such as difficulty in breathing; closing of throat; swelling of lips, tongue, or face; or hives)
Severe headaches
Restlessness, agitation, or irritability
Uncontrollable or Irregular movements
Dizziness or drowsiness
Nausea, abdominal pain, or diarrhea
Insomnia or vivid dreams
Mild confusion, agitation, or anxiety
Mild headache
Dry mouth It says that other side effects may also occur other than the above mentioned. Has anyone experienced side effects other than the ones stated above? If yes then what are these other side effects? Thanks
