I've had eye twitches off and on for years, also the corner of my mouth also twitches randomly.. looks sorta like the sneer Elvis would do for lack of a better way to put it. This tends to happen for months at a time and then it just stops for a few months and comes back again... goes away.. comes back... I'm currently in a 'down' period, as it's not happened since November.. maybe even October.
I've got a laundry list of also health issues though, both physical and mental.
I've had severe depression for years and no self esteem to speak of coupled with severe shyness.
I realize those mental/emotional issues likely aren't related to my strange on again/off again twitches.. but I can't help but wonder if any of these are:
Near life long knee pain.. usually minor, at times throughout the day more severe.
Back pain that comes and goes, I can go all day without it hurting sometimes, other times it hurts all day long. It's usually, though not always concentrated on the upper part of the back.
These last few days to go along with the usual pain that's either there all day, or not there at all.. I've had sharp pain that tends to happen every five to 10 minutes.. only lasts around 30 seconds and then goes away.
Way back during middle school (I'll be 30 next year as a reference point) during routine Scoliosis exams the nurse told everything in front of me that they were fine, when she got to me she asked if I had ever been tested for it and said that if not then I should be.
I never even bothered to ever tell my parents.. because I've always been and continue to be stubborn about my health. The scoliosis possibility may or may not be the cause of the back pain.
This post has already been long.. but more strange symptoms that I experience every now and then wrist numbness.... rapid heartbeat... especially during sleep (there have been times my heart beat so fast in bed, that my bed would physically shake like a scene from "The Exorcist"... this hasn't happened for a few months though) and finally just general soreness especially in my shoulders and on very very rare occasions (rare as in only a couple of days a year.. starting in 07 or so general weakness..)
I'm the night manager at a local grocery store and when those two or three days a year of general weakness hit, even something as light as a wine bottle feels like it weighs three or four times what it actually weighs.
Sorry for the sheer length of this post, but could any of these things be related? Maybe it's time I finally see a doctor stubborn or not.. I've not even had a doctor for well over a decade, let alone see one.
