Memory Loss & Migraines

I am asking this not for myself, but for a friend.

Several years ago my friend fell from quite a height and fell head first into a tile floor. He cracked his head open, and it was stapled shut.

Now, a few years later, he has trouble remembering things from before the accident; he can make new memories, but for example, things from his childhood he no longer recalls. Not only this, but ever since the accident he gets intense migrains, which he never had before. They are isolated to a single spot in his head, sometimes moving from front to back, and he often gets dizzy, with blurred vision and hearing, and has almost blacked out at times.

He refuses thus far to see a doctor, when I say he should- I am worried more may be going on. He says he has never been given a cat scan , or told any doctor of his problems, and I am concerned.

Any insights? Feel free to share. Thanks.
