So i have heard of people saying that this has happened to them on these boards before, and i was just wondering if anyone had any info about it, or if it has happened to them?

The first time it happened was about a month ago, i smoked some weed and got all numb, tingly, and had weird sensations/twitching and blurry vision for about 10 days! Then it randomly went away. Now i have smoked again, and its happeneing again (not as bad as the last time becasue i smoked such a small amount but it still concerns me).

I should also mention that i have been to the doctor for this, and had extensive testing done (mri, cat scan, chest xray, blood tests, lymes disease test, thyroid, etc) and everything came back negative. No answers for me! Since the doctors are stumped, i was just wondering if anyone had any person experience with this?

Especially if it has happened to them before and went away and it has been awhile and they are still living and breathing! lol im sure its not too serious if all the tests came back fine, but still its very annoying and makes me think i might have some underlying random issues. I definitely plan to stop smoking, its just weird because i have smoked for years and never experienced anything like this until now!

I'm not sure why it happens but I think its my body telling me to lay off a bit, Im not dizzy or nauseous, I just have a numbness and delay reaction to touch as if i just smoked. As a beginner this happened to me almost every time i tried marijuana but as time went on I gained control and it never seemed to be a problem. This is my 4th day with these symptoms, so I decided to have a look around the internet and came across this post, let me know how you come along in the future. thanks!

I definitely plan to stop smoking, its just weird because i have smoked for years and never experienced anything like this until now!I am relatively experienced smoker, but over the years had not extremely high more than 4 times a week or so. About a month ago I hit numerous buckets every day for a week and a half, each time getting an amazing body buzz. On the 11th day however, after I burnt out, my hands and feet were numb and I had trouble feeling things properly. Looking back on past body buzzes, I've come to the conclusion that my blood was too thick to properly circulate and that my hands and feet were just really really cold. I'm not a doctor or trained health professional, but unless the symptoms last more than 48hours i would not worry especially since you have had tests done. Hope this helps, vote it decriminalized!

  • I have been feelin the same exact way. I smoke sometimes like twice a week or so and my friend sold me some weed. I smoked it with one of my buds and NOTHING happenned to him! About half hour into the high my vision started to get really wierd. I would focus on one thing then it everythin else would blurr and two seconds later i would snap back to reality. And two seconds later the vision thing would happen along with sounds becoming foggy and my hearing going in and out. This happenned for like a couple hours. I took a nap and it went away. That night while falling asleep I had anxiety, panic, hallucinations and an overall loss of perception and reality. Then the next morning it came back. Ive basically been in a fog for the past four days and it hasent gone away. I feel like theres no hope and its nevrr gonna go away. I just want to go back to normal and get rid of this numbness and fog. Could it just have been bad side effect of the weed IDK!! SOMEONE HELPPPP PLEASE:( went to te doctor an she said it must just be a side affect of the thc leaving my body. I also have a bit of fever and ALOT of fatigue. I sleep soo much.:( S.O.S. :(QUOTE=Unregistered;209506]So i have heard of people saying that this has happened to them on these boards before, and i was just wondering if anyone had any info about it, or if it has happened to them? The first time it happened was about a month ago, i smoked some weed and got all numb, tingly, and had weird sensations/twitching and blurry vision for about 10 days! • These are all common reactions to candida sufferers who smoke cannabis, I went through it myself. Candida is a controversial diagnosis but as a severe sufferer I can tell you its real I was even hospitalised and the doctors couldn't find out what was wrong me. There is plenty of info on the net about it not much about the cannabis connection, but many of my friends who are smokers have had it as well, it seems to make you susceptible to it idk if its because of mold in the weed or because it lowers your immune system I had to quit in order to beat it and now that I have I can smoke again but I take a probiotic supplement most days if I don't and I smoke weed it gradually comes back I start getting shivers, tinitus, cold hand (raynauds), visual disturbances/hallucinations allergies/hayfever I could go on. If you have problems you should see a doctor but if you can't find answers like me then you have nothing to lose with trying candida treatment. All the best.

  • I just picked up an ounce in Australia where this happened. It was immediately noticeable and somewhat troubling considering after I finished the ounce, its a few days later and my face/mouth is still slightly numb.

This happened to me in Madison WI as well once.

Its not you... It can't be.

I'd let your dealer know about the issue and ask if he used pesticides on the plant before harvesting. It can't be good and is certainly not "you being super stoned."

    Been smoking 20 years.

  • yipes! that is creepy to think about. be SURE with your lyme test, get a good one done at Igenix labs and see if any of the bands are positive. read up on what each band means. many types of micro bacterial bugs out there that like to "hide out" in nerve cells and in body, then get active. (pain) they also are almost impossible to kill, you need two antibiotics for a long time: doxy and something else to bust thru the protective wall they build around themselves. Quite complex.

  • This is actually happening to me right now. I smoked two days ago and I have been feeling numb and tinkly for two days now, it is very annoying because it's hard to go to the bathroom and get dressed because I'm so numb. It's also very weird because I've been smoking for 4 years and this randomly happens, idk what to do!!!

  • i smoked once for the first time about 18 years ago and had a bad experience including a terrible numbness in my head. This numbness has remained since that day to now and it has really made my life difficult. i went to see several secialists, did the tests cat scans and all but they found nothing wrong with me. they said it was all in my mind. I really wish i could go back and change the day this happened
