Lump in the back of right thigh causing a tingling sensation

I wasn't sure which forum to post this in but hope I can get some thoughts here.

I am 19 years old and originally noticed a lump in the back of my right thigh 2-3 years ago. I realise it would have been best to have had it checked out then but it caused me no pain and being in a position I didn't frequently feel I forgot about it for some time.

Recently, however, I have had a 'prickly' tingling sensation over the area when resting my feet up. I also feel I get pins and needles in my right leg a little quicker than what is normal if I am sitting down for a long period.

I have now made a Doctor's appointment for later this week but was hoping to get an idea of what it could be first.

Thanks for any help,
