Jolting sensations from ecstasy?

Last Saturday night, or the early morning hours of Sunday, I took five pills of ecstasy along with a large amount of alcohol and cannabis, stayed up all night and took four more pills at approximately 10:00 AM, falling asleep finally around 1:00 PM.

Also at some point of the night, while I was roaming around in the woods with friends, I let myself become extremely dehydrated. I panicked and drank from a nearby undoubtedly putrid lake. I was expecting this to make me sick, but I haven't had any gastrointestinal symptoms apart from constipation (which has since subsided).

After I came down I felt disgusted with myself and mentally exhausted. I was like a pile of smoldering nerve ends, as if I had been struck by lightning.

I began to feel brief, dizzying, 'electric shock' like sensations after I had been baseline for six hours or so. It feels like a spike running through my body, with every muscle flexing in a wave from the head down.
The feeling is similar to the head rush felt with low blood pressure, but more intense and it ceases in an instant. Not very pleasant needless to say.

These jolts have increased in frequency over the last day, however I don't feel like I'm having any gaps in my concentration. I wrote a diploma exam for math today and I had no problem whatsoever.

any thoughts?

  • I'm still experiencing this frequently, but It feels less like a shock and more like I'm light headed. I had difficulty getting to sleep because the sensation was amplified with my eyes closed. Getting out of bed this morning was quite difficult as I had a huge head rush. Could this be just blood pressure or something respiratory?
