In 2007 I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy, I was told it would clear up in less than a month....

It hasn't cleared and I am plagued daily with pain, drooping, numbness, muscle spasms, tingling etc...
I was seeing a neurologist with out any results and was deemed that it was fine and to just deal with it, now I can no longer "deal with it". It's effecting my daily life and making it hard and hard to function or rest. Could I have been misdiagnosed? Is there anything anyone can do at this point? I've had CTs, MRI's, ECG's, blood work and have taken various medications without any change. Help!

  • I had Bells Palsy years ago. My dr put me on high doses of vitamin C and it was gone in 3 months. I also used a vibrating massager to keep my facial muscles stimulated so I wouldn't get droop. You already have the stoop but massaging may help. If your eyelid droops, it can mean your eye dries out or can become damaged. Please see a different neurologist for another opinion. There is treatments for this.
