Hi guys I am 28 year old male with no health problems,7 months back I lost my job and after worrying my self sick I developed twitching all over my body even my tongue. I seen 2 doctors and they took blood and urine but did not find anything and told me its anxiety I do worry specially about my health. Well my twitching has stopped but now I don’t get it at all its like its gone, after its gone I developed second symptoms where I fell like some body is poking me and this cold felling all over my body but in spots like some body is touching me with ice cube it would be all over my body face too I would also have pins and needles in my legs some time the felling would just be all over my legs and stomach like small explosions, I head that for couple months but that is gone to fallowed by new symptoms where I would fell burn in my shoulder leg tights and arms biceps and brachiorasalis that is the muscle located in lover arm I don’t fell week just that the pain is there it would be fast burst of pain or like I was working out I think its called the burn and some times I would fell like something is pooling me like I am about get dizzy just strange felling in my head that head stopped to I don’t get them at all. I went to emergency room first time I fell this and doc told me its just something that we get when I go this burning felling on my left side of my face and it was so weird and my skin fell tight I went to the emergency room and I seen same doc he told me that we all get staff like this from time to time and that its nothing to worry about I told him what about MS or other neurological problem he told me that he does not believe its ms I told him how can you be sure he told me listen to me I seen over 4000 patients and I would worry if you come to me with the arm that was limp and u could not move it. I mean I mean I wont lie I do concentrate on my body and what is felling I always think that I have MS or something. It hard to explain this to the doctor since I don’t have 1 and I have to go to walk in clinic and they just don’t listen to me one actually told me that he does not have time to listen to my symptoms he wants to know what is worn now. I rely don’t know what to do here any more its like 1 symptom after another one goes away ad another comes. I have appointment with neurologist on July 15 but I am afraid that he might be just like those *******s at walking clinic where I am just a number. If any of you have any suggestions how to approached this or my Neurologist or the doctors at walk in clinic it would be great I just don’t know what is wrong with me.

Thanks guys

Thanks guys Are you taking any antianxiety meds? Any other medications? You sound like you may have a B12 deficiency, which can cause a host of neurological symptoms similar to MS...if you can get copies of your blood levels it will tell you where your B12 lies, in a range of 200-1100. If it is close to 300 or under, then you very likely need a course of B12 injections to get your stores up. Please read Sally Pacholok's thread on B12 misdiagnosis - it is crazy long, but incredibly informative. B12 defiency is treatable, but often goes undiagnosed and can cause irreversible damage. I just think it would be a good thing to test for... Ask your neurologist to give you a serum B12 test, an MMA test, and a Hcy(homocysteine) test to rule out B12 deficiency. If they shrug this off, find another doc who will listen. Don't just go to the healthfood store and buy B12 supplements - you really need to test for this first, and then take 1000mcg injections daily at first, tapering off to once a month. Methylcobalamin is the best form of B12...you can find info also on www.b12.com Best wishesDOM

  • Hi i just got the something of the answer form the doctor on the forum just answer whi i paied 10 dollars for response this is what he told me.Hi johnny378, Thanks for the question. It is quite complicated, but first the neurologist appointment is a great idea. Keep it. What you describe sounds like a peripherial neuropathy. Are you diabetic? Are you taking other medicines? Until you see the neurologist I would continue to take the antiinflamatory. (one of the NSAIDS?) Whether this neuropathy is a solitary occurrence(unlikely) or part of a much larger picture, we have to determine, and the neurologist is an excellnt place to begin I hope this answers your question to your satisfaction, at least until you get a hands on opinion from the neurologist. If so please click on accept, otherwise fire back other questions. Good health and good luck to you. If it is not too much trouble, please let me know how this turns out. • Hey...I am going through something extremely similar to you...I have been a healthy person all of my life and all of a sudden last September I started experiencing twitches in my calf muscles. I freaked out and now I have stuff going on all over all of the time. I do concentrate on my body EVERY minute of the day that I am awake. I think that I have MS too. If you don't mind...could you tell me the latest on you?

  • Latest on me well all the symptoms are gone, i started new job and now i am more working and less at home worrying, i seen my nuro, and i wrote all of it down on paper all the symptoms he give me standard nuro test at his office and he told me that its my muscles that been cosing the problems, i stared hawing this when i started new job which is heavy lifting like 500 pounds loading and unloading trucks well after i quit that job all of the symptoms are gone some times i would get i here and there after long day of work, i asked my nuro can tis be something big or can this come back and bite me in the **s he said no he told me i believe you are ok. I have article that i would like to send you if you can give me your e mail i will post it here. I was so scared i waited 3 months to see my nuro but now he say that i am fine. I do fell fine now no symptoms and i don't think about it at all, and i was thinking about it 24/7 it was crazy.Well any other questions just ask.I know I know spelling grammar:) sucks(And i did pay some doc to give me answer on the net but according to my nuro this is big NO NO since they cant diagnose you they can just gues, You have to be face to face with doc to get proper diagnosis, When u are face to face they look ate you body and how you react to certain things. So i dont trust that doc on the net

  • Thanks for the reply...my email is amicrazy70@yahoo.com....I am soooo glad that you are better. I completely understand how this will drive you insane. I have been doing this for almost a year now. I have pretty good days, but the thought of having an incurable disease is with me every second I'm awake.
