Starting last January I have had pain in my right hip (NOT where I hold my wallet) develop when I sit for longer than 15 minutes. I am a 68 year old male. In May I saw my doc who diagnosed it as bursitis and gave me a cortisone shot at that site. Since I was making no progress thereafter, three weeks ago I started Physical Therapy including ultrasound, e-stim and heat. However, I am still experiencing the problem. Is this typical for bursitis - should it last about a year? Or should I worry about zebras instead of horses, eg, bone cancer?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
