  • It's neuropathy of some kind. My mam has peripheral nuropathy which affected her legs and arms (started with tingling, burning, numbness, over sensitive skin, difficulty walking 2 years ago). She's still in pain today but the numbness and tingling are nearly gone. After millions of test the cause of nerve damage is still unknown. She's on neurontin now which seems to help a little. Good luck with your diagnosis! Karolina

  • I was in a car accident which caused a lot of problems to my back. It started with low back pain and neck pain. I went to a chiropractor who has been helping me a great deal. You said you heard something pop, which could have been one of the vertebrae in your back. If they are pinching a nerve it can cause a lot of pain. Shooting pain, numbness, weakness of the limbs, tingling, burning, stabbing pain. It may be worth looking into.
